The U.S. Treasury Secretary On the President’s Budget

Just in case anyone thought we were less than impartial in our analysis describing President Obama’s budget proposal for the federal government’s Fiscal Year 2013 (which will run from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013) as “unsustainable”, here is the official assessment of Timothy Geithner, the current U.S. Treasury Secretary:

As for whether any leadership will be forthcoming from the President’s administration on repairing the government’s fiscal health, Secretary Geithner was also clear in stating that the Obama administration, of which he is part, will not be part of the solution:
